Dear Members and Community Friends,
We are excited to announce that the Orford Historical Society Board of Directors would like to thank you for being a 2025 Member and/or Friend of the Orford Historical Society. Your contributions, volunteer time, and patience have been invaluable, and we are deeply grateful for your continued support.
We are writing once again to ask you to support our mission by renewing your Membership for 2026—or by becoming a new member if you are not already. Additionally, please consider a donation to the Orford Historical Society Fund. This fund provides for the upkeep and improvements of the Town Hall Heritage Center and allows us the flexibility to embark on new projects and exhibits. Our fundraising goal for 2026 is to raise $8,000 from memberships and donations.
We’re excited to share that, for the first time this year, you may join or renew your Orford Historical Society membership online through Venmo. You may also continue with traditional options—mailing a check (using the enclosed stamped, addressed envelope for your convenience) or making a credit card payment. We want to make supporting the Orford Historical Society as simple and welcoming as possible.
On our Orford Historical Society’s website you’ll find all of our upcoming events, society news, historical stories, and information about our collections at www.orfordhistory.org. It’s a great way to see what we’ve been working on and what’s ahead—we hope you’ll take a few minutes to explore it.

We are hopeful for your financial support in our continued effort to preserve and share the rich history of Orford, New Hampshire. Your membership and contributions help us sustain our programs, exhibits, and community events. Together, we can keep Orford’s heritage alive and ensure its stories remain for future generations.
